Memorable Games | I couldn't really tell you since he retired 29 years before I was born,
but surely 11 goals against Hibs in 3 matches is the stuff even Robbo would dream of! |
Other Comments | 18,000 came to watch his trial,
goal in his first match, the Hibs matches, 2 footed, great in the air, 44 goals in season '30-31 (even though he missed several games with appendicitis), 218 goals from 200 games and he retired through injury aged only 30. Despite this he only ever got 1 cap for Scotland (1 for USA) Some things never change. |
