What Happened | What a game! Hearts went 2-0 up through Rene Moller and then were hauled back to 2-2. Utd went 4-2 ahead but we eventually went 5-4 ahead. Then 5-5! Then 6-5 Hearts!! What a game, but no good for the old ticker! We beat Rangers in the next round after a replay and Morton in the semi before being beaten by Dunfermline in the final. |
Other Comments | There are other games, Texaco Cup V Wolves at Molineux, beating Hibs three times in a week in the sixties, the last day defeat by Killie in 65 and Dundee in 86, but the Utd game stands out. |
