I COULDN'T DO OUI OUI.

Hearts hero Gilles Rousset took two-and-a-half hours to provide a drugs test for SFA chiefs last night - and had to down two bottles of CHAMPAGNE to give them it!

The brilliant French keeper kept the Jambos bus waiting outside Parkhead until 7.30.

But as the sponsors' man of the match staggered out into the sunshine with his suit and tie - but NO shirt - he grinned: "I promise I'll make up for keeping them all away from the celebrations so long!

"I've had to drink two bottles of Champagne and two cans of beer in the last two- and-a-half hours.

"But there will be plenty more going where that went over the next few days!

"It's been an absolutely amazing day and I'm so pleased for the fans. They've waited so long.

"I've only been here three years and I'm a Hearts man now. But it wasn't about me out there today - it was about guys like John Robertson, Gary Locke, Gary Mackay, Neil Berry, John Colquhoun. They deserve the celebrations."

Rousset made a string of outstanding stops to defy Rangers - and bury the horrific memory of his 1995 Final blunder.

In that 5-1 humbling he let a cross from Brian Laudrup slip between his legs to gift Gers a clincher.

But he insisted: "I made a bad mistake but that is part of my history now.

"I have lost three Cup Finals in my career but now I am a winner and I can't explain how good it feels.

"The three years I've been here have been so special - even my son Lucas wants to play for SCOTLAND now!"

Rousset did admit he had a scare with five minutes left when Ally McCoist tumbled on the edge of the box.

Ref Willie Young controversially awarded only a free-kick but Rousset admitted: "I was convinced he had given the penalty."

But he laughed: "Mind you, even if he had I would have saved it anyway!"

Colin Cameron had fired Hearts to a dream start from the penalty spot with his FIRST TOUCH.

And after the game the Jambos ace revealed that he's only missed one penalty in his entire career.

He said: "The only one I missed was for Raith Rovers against Airdrie in the B&Q Challenge Cup.

"Then a few weeks later I took another one against them and scored.

"It was my first touch of the ball today. Neil McCann wanted to take it but I'm the usual penalty taker so I told him no chance.

"I took over that job from John Robertson and I will still be there until I miss one for Hearts."

And he reckoned it was crucial that Hearts scored first because it turned the tables on a Rangers side so used to protecting a lead.

He said: "It was a bit of a turnaround seeing us sitting back a bit and looking to hit them on the break."
