CANADIAN FANS' JOY

A HEARTS fan who travelled from Canada to see the Jambos lift the cup has been celebrating after securing tickets for the final at the last minute.

Frank Young, who moved from Penicuik, Midlothian, to Burlington, Ontario, 15 years ago, feared he would not be able to see the match.

The lifelong Jambo had brought his son Scott, seven, to Scotland so the two of them and his father Frank snr, 69, could see the game, but were unable to get tickets.

However, on reading his story in the Edinburgh Evening News, James McInroy, who used to go to games on the same Hearts supporters bus as Mr Young years earlier, offered him three tickets.

Mr Young, 40, said: "When he said he had tickets for me, my son and my dad I just went nuts. They really enjoyed the game."
