New Cheat Storm For Mikoliunas

SAULIUS Mikoliunas faces trial by TV from his Hearts bosses after being caught up in another diving storm.

The Lithuanian, banned for two games by UEFA last year for his dive to win a penalty against Scotland at Hampden, was yellow carded for simulation again yesterday.

Mikoliunas went down in a clash with Jeffrey Visscher and the incident sparked fury among Dons players with ref Willie Collum booking him.

Now Hearts caretaker boss Stevie Frail will study video evidence - and throw the book at Miko if he has taken a tumble.

Frail said: "I'll have a look at the decision he was booked for. I'm hoping there's contact and he has not gone down.

"If he has then we'll have a serious look at it. I've made him aware of the situation and how decisions might go against him but I'll let you decide if it's victimisation."

Skipper Christophe Berra insists his mates are behind Miko though.

He said: "I was so far away I didn't see it. We know he has a reputation and things might go against him but he's going to have to learn from that.

"Miko's a good lad and if he says it should be a penalty I believe him."

That incident apart Frail was delighted with Hearts' second win and second clean sheet on the bounce that moves them up to ninth.

He said: "The defending got a bit desperate towards the end but the players fought hard. I think it's our first back to back wins since September.

"We can now go into our semi-final against Rangers on Wednesday night with confidence - we can definitely win it."
