Hearts' Aguiar set for comeback against Kilmarnock

HEARTS playmaker Bruno Aguiar could make his first appearance for a month in Saturday's clash at Kilmarnock.
The former Benfica player has missed the last four games with a troublesome hamstring problem but he was back in training this morning at Riccarton.

Manager Csaba Laszlo said: "If Bruno trains and is okay then we will look at him for Saturday.

"That is definitely positive as it gives us more possibilities for Kilmarnock."

With both Lee Wallace and Marius Zaliukas suspended for the trip to Ayrshire, Laszlo will be forced into at least two changes from the team which dumped city rivals Hibernian out of the Homecoming Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Laszlo said: "It seems every weekend there is a new situation and something new to look at but that is football and we just get on with it.

"Lee and Marius are out for Saturday so we need as many players as possible available for the match."

Another player struggling to make this weekend's trip to Rugby Park is midfielder Laryea Kingston, who sat out the cup tie at Easter Road with a hamstring problem.

The Ghana international's agent revealed today his client expects to be fully fit within 10 days.

He also claimed Kingston, 28, is being monitored by three English and one Spanish club, fuelling speculation a January move may be on the cards as Hearts attempt to reduce both their debts and wage bill.

Ayrat Imamov, of Moscow-based Pro Sports Management, said today his client is happy at Tynecastle and would willingly see out the remaining 18 months of his contract if no one meets the club's valuation.

"I can confirm there is a lot of interest in Larry," Imamov told the Evening News.

"Three English teams are watching him and one team from La Liga in Spain. These clubs are interested but I spoke to Larry today and he is concentrating on this season.

"He is a Hearts player, he is happy there, he just wants to play and help his team. I know that (Saulius) Mikoliunas and some other players are injured and Larry is one of the key players in the team. I think the team needs him.

"If Hearts get a concrete offer, we will sit and discuss what to do. I know that the club management are happy when Larry plays to his best level.

"If the club gets a firm offer from a top club, it will be very interesting for the player. The Hearts management are very professional and very clever and I think we will find a solution. If not, Larry will stay at Hearts and do his best.

"He has a contract with this club and we can discuss every day the possibilities for a transfer, but Larry and his family are happy in Edinburgh. He likes the championship, the style of play, he loves everything."
