Make it a million!

07.12.2012

Hearts can today announce that the money generated by the current Share Issue has broken through the £750,000 barrier.

The milestone has been reached with 12 days of the scheme still to run and director Sergejus Fedotovas has urged supporters to now try to hit the £1million mark.

"It is a great effort to bring in £750,000 and the fans should be proud of the achievement. But as I have stated on a number of occasions, we are still well short of reaching the target which was set at the launch of the Share Issue.

"There will be consequences if we fail to hit that target and I would ask anyone who hasn't participated in the scheme yet, to do so.

"We have to look at reaching £1million now. That is the next target and I think it is one that is realistic and achievable.

"Good work has been done over the last few weeks. The Share Issue closes on December 19 so time is running out, though.

"Fans can also play their part in directly helping the club by buying tickets for our home games. The recent St Mirren match was a sell out and if we can repeat that at every home game from now until the end of the season, then it will help considerably as we move towards a more stable financial situation.

"Our half season tickets are now on sale and that is another valuable revenue stream for the club."
