GARY: IT'LL BE CUPSET FOR ANDY

GARY LOCKE has warned Hearts contract rebel Andy Webster he'll be devastated watching his team-mates celebrate a Scottish Cup win without him.

The Scotland defender will be left out again next week at Hampden when Jambos take on Gretna after refusing to sign a new deal.

Locke was Hearts' skipper last time they lifted the cup in 1998 but missed the final against Rangers with injury.

He eventually got on the pitch to hold the trophy aloft with Stevie Fulton. However, Locke admits there's no substitute for playing and his non-involvement is STILL a sore point.

Kilmarnock captain Locke said: "I can't tell Andy what to do, he has his reasons for not signing at Hearts and that's his right.

"But on Saturday he'll feel the same as I did because it's a great day and a fantastic occasion to be involved in.

"I wanted to be happy for everyone. But when you have a moment to yourself it gets a bit depressing knowing you can't play.

"When I look back on the day it was disappointing not to be involved. I got to lift the trophy but the fact I didn't play will always rankle."
