£1M TAG ON GARY KID'S TRIAL

DAVID MOYES last night warned Celtic he won't let Scotland defender Gary Naysmith leave Everton for less than £1 million.

The Goodison Park boss insists he won't sell the former Hearts left-back on the cheap.

Naysmith, right, has been linked with Celtic for two years.

And their interest in the 27-year-old has increased after they failed to land top target Michal Kadlec.

Naysmith, who could face the Hoops at Parkhead on Sunday, will have to fight for his place in Moyes' team with Alessandro Pistone and Nuno Valente and would jump at the chance of a return north.

But the manager has told Gordon Strachan that doesn't mean Naysmith would be available at a bargain rate.

Moyes said: "I have three left-backs on my books but if one were to leave the price would have to be right. If Celtic want Gary they would have to pay around £1 m for him."
