Ivanauskas frustrated with draw

Valdas Ivanauskas was disappointed with Hearts goalless draw with Falkirk at Tynecastle, as the home supporters jeered the team off at the end.

Julien Brellier was replaced by Mirsad Beslija, sparking off frustrations, but the head coach said: "I can understand the fans' reaction but it wasn't easy.

"If we had scored the first goal, it would have been OK, but time went on and our players got tired.

"They want a positive result all the time, but it is not always possible."

The point takes the Edinburgh club to the top of the SPL table.

However, it was a laboured performance by Hearts following the midweek Champions League qualifying first-leg defeat against AEK Athens.

Aand Ivanauskas added: "Julien did well but Falkirk had three players in the middle of the pitch who did well also.

"But Brellier was not ready for 90 minutes and it was my decision to take him off."
