MCGLYNN HAILS COACH RETURNSPL LATEST... JOHN McGLYNN believes the return of Valdas Ivanauskas can finally end weeks of turmoil at Hearts. The former Tynecastle coach, who ended a 10-year association with the club to take over at Raith last week, feels the Lithuanian's presence is the perfect filip. McGlynn, right, said: "I hope Valdas coming back brings a bit of stability to the club, it's good to see him back. "First and foremost, he feels well enough to come back but Mr Romanov has also decided he wants him back in charge. "It's a great thing for the club. It will help the players and lift spirits. His health was an issue, but he's refreshed and raring to go again. Hearts need a leader, stability, a figurehead - and Valdas can provide that. "The players will already be in better spirits. "Valdas also speaks English as well, which is obviously a bonus after recent weeks at the club." ![]() Taken from the Daily Record |
