CUP ACES QUICK ON THE DRAW

DOUBLE winner Alex Smith and shock score specialist Adrian Sprott will make the draw for the third round of the Tennent's Scottish Cup today.

Smith, who guided St Mirren to the trophy in 1987 and repeated the feat with Aberdeen three years later, will pull the names from the hat helped by Sprott, who helped Hamilton stun Rangers in the 1987 competition and was in the Stenhousemuir side that KO'd the Dons in 1995.

The draw takes place at 5pm after Edinburgh City face Stirling Albion at Meadowbank.
