GORDON: I WILL LEAVE HEARTS ON MY TERMS

Colin Duncan

CRAIG GORDON last night insisted he won't be forced out of Tynecastle and will only leave if the deal suits him.

Hearts are desperate to cash in on the £5million-rated keeper before the transfer window closes at midnight tonight.

West Ham and Arsenal have both expressed interest in Gordon while Fulham, who have tabled a £4m bid for the Scotland international, want him immediately.

But the 24-year-old who was axed for Saturday's clash with Rangers at Ibrox claims he has been kept in the dark about any possible move.

He said: "I'm open to suggestions only if it's good for my career. The decisions I've made so far have been for footballing reasons and I'm going to continue doing that.

I'm only going to leave here if it is right for me.

"If I'm going to leave Hearts then it will be on my terms. I'm still unsure what's happening but will find out more in the next 24 hours.

"I didn't play against Rangers because they said they were in the middle of negotiating my transfer.

"I'm not aware of interest from anybody and if the club know who it is then they have kept it quiet and not said anything to me."
