Juanjo waits for go-ahead to make Ross County switch

FORMER Hearts and Inverness winger Juanjo will learn today if he has won a move to Ross County.

The 31-year-old, who left Caley Thistle in 2006, has been training with the First Division club, where he spent a week on trial in February.

The one-time Barcelona youth is keen to return to the Highlands after a spell in the Spanish lower leagues.

County boss Derek Adams said: "With Juanjo it's been a case of taking another wee look, although there is no doubting his ability.

"I just have to decide if he's the best person for Ross County at this moment and I'll probably make a final decision tomorrow."

Adams has told defender Danny Griffin he is free to find a new club.

But there was better news as top scorer Steven Craig was passed fit for tomorrow's clash with Dunfermline after missing four games with a thigh injury.
