Csaba Laszlo keeps quiet over Levein 'faking injury' blast row

HEARTS boss Csaba Laszlo refuses to be drawn into a slanging match with Dundee United counterpart Craig Levein, insisting his sole focus is on his side's meeting with Motherwell tomorrow night.

Levein heavily criticised Hearts' tactics during the Tynecastle team's 1-0 victory over United at Tannadice on Saturday, a win which stretched their advantage over their rivals for third spot in the SPL to five points, but Levein is adamant his rebuke has not been fuelled by sour grapes.

The United boss accused the Hearts players of feigning injury and of time-wasting antics and has urged referees to clamp down on the Edinburgh side in the future.

However, Laszlo has brushed off Levein's condemnation and insists he will not allow it to take his focus off his team's bid for another crucial three points against Motherwell .

He said: "It is most important to concentrate on your own team and I concentrate on my team.

"The most important thing for me is the game against Motherwell. I don't lose energy on things which are not important.

"It is not my interest to talk about Inverness, Celtic, Rangers, Dundee United or Aberdeen. Everybody has their problems but I talk about my team.

"I don't criticise the referee, the SFA, the SPL, my colleagues on the bench.

"Maybe he was speaking from frustration but that is normal. You can lose, win or draw but if you lose against your direct competitor it is painful. My team had a good performance, with a good goalkeeper and a little bit of luck.

"If I say 'I must comment on the story from my colleague in the newspaper' I will lose my focus and, for me, my focus has to be on my team."
