Head of Football Administration - Konstantin Kornakov

Hearts today announced the appointment of Konstantin Kornakov as Head of Football Administration.

Konstantin has been with the club since 2007, and takes the newly-created role having previously been Football Administrator. Fluent in English, Russian and Spanish, he will be responsible for all administrative matters in relation to player trading and also broader aspects of the governance of football domestically and in the European game.

Konstantin said: "It's been great being involved with Hearts for this time and it is a privilege to be given this opportunity to extend my role at the club. I am working on a day-to-day basis with John Murray and Paulo Sergio in our shared aim of shaping the club's football operations for the seasons ahead."

David Southern, managing director, said: "The game is evolving on an almost daily basis and clubs have to be quick footed to meet the increasing number of legislative and procedural changes. Konstantin's wider remit ensures the club will be guided through such matters professionally. He will also expand his existing role and lead all support work on football matters such as player trading and related duties."
