600 More Family Tickets !

The Scottish Football League has now adjusted it's previous decision to re-allocate 3500 family priced tickets earmarked for Saints to Hearts and has now released an additional 600 family tickets to the club which will go on immediate sale.

After a few days of bad publicity the SFL have released the following statement;

The Scottish Football League have today been able to release a further 600 tickets for the West Stand to St. Mirren F.C. The original decision to offer Heart of Midlothian F.C. a further 3,500 tickets was based on health and safety reasons regarding segregation and the provision of facilities and based on last week’s prevailing rate of sale by both clubs.

Today following detailed discussion with Hampden Park Ltd. and Strathclyde Police, and a full operational inspection of the area of the West Stand which was under discussions, an appropriate segregation plan can be implemented to the satisfaction of all parties. This has allowed us to provide St. Mirren F.C. with a further 600 tickets.

The Scottish Football League at all times, has left no stone unturned to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both clubs and their fans.

Whilst the old adage of "better late than never" applies, it is disappointing that this solution couldn't have been implemented in the first place. Still, no time for negativity this week, we move onwards and upwards !

The club have now released the following details on how to buy these tickets;

To accommodate family groups who have still to purchase tickets for the Final, St Mirren Football Club will only be selling these initially to those who have children within the party.

Since the weekend however, we have sold a number of £30 debenture seats in the South Stand who will take priority if they wish to swap for West Stand Family Section (providing children within the party).

Anyone who has purchased a South Stand debenture seat for £30 but has children within the group and wishes to swap their allocation for the B5 family section should contact the St Mirren Ticket office in person, by phone: (0141) 840-6130 or email: tickets@saintmirren.net prior to 5:00pm tomorrow (Wednesday 13th March).

Thereafter all remaining tickets will go on general sale from the St Mirren Ticket Office on Thursday 14th March at 10:00am.

The ticket office is open10am to 3pm on Weds and 10am to 7pm on Thurs and Friday.

Fans who have ordered tickets for uplift have been told the deadline for collection will be 7pm Friday.
