Jamma wants wins

Jamie Macdonald insists that although the team are still gutted about losing the League Cup Final, now is the time to move on.

Following the international break, the players have returned to training and the Hearts number one knows that his teammates are feeling fresh and ready to go.

Speaking to the media this morning at Riccarton, Jamie said: "The game pretty much summed up our season. I've recovered now. It's been a long time since the game, we got a few days off after it with it being an international week so it was quite good that it happened then.

"You can get away from football in general and clear the head a little bit, spend some time with the family. After a disappointing result like that you can dwell on it a little bit too much and it doesn't do you any good.

"A few days off and you come back fresh, now it's about looking forward to the seven games that are left.

"We're sitting tenth in the league which isn't good enough. We need to focus on making sure we can finish as high up the league as we can now and give ourselves a good footing for next year."
