Christian Nade joins East Fife

East Fife have confirmed the shock signing of former Hearts striker Christian Nade, while the Methil outfit will go full-time next season following the takeover of local businessman Lee Murray.

Addressing the club's supporters last night, Murray confirmed that Nade, 28, has agreed a substantial wage cut to return to Scottish football after departing Thai side Samut Songkhram. Fans were also told East Fife are eyeing up Portuguese and French stars.

The Second Division side, whose new manager Willie Aitchison will have Kevin Drinkell as his No 2, will also implement a full-time structure as they target promotion.
