Hearts host Hibs in opening home game

Hearts will host city rival Hibs in their opening home game of the new SPL season.

The Jambos will play the Hibees on Saturday, August 10 at Tynecastle Stadium, having made the trip to Perth to face St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on August 3 in the opening fixture of the 2013-14 campaign.

The third week of the season sees Gary Locke take his team to Firhill to take on newly-promoted Partick Thistle.

The New Year derby goes ahead at Easter Road on Wednesday, January 1.

Dates and times of the derbies are subject to change depending on the demands of TV.
