Brad thanks fans13.07.2013 Brad McKay has thanked the Hearts fans for turning out in their thousands this afternoon at East End Park. The Jambos ran out 2-1 winners, with McKay scoring the opening goal, and the big centre half couldn't believe the backing they got. Speaking exclusively to HeartsTV after the match, Brad said: "It was unbelievable, a great turnout. The noise they were making as well. "There were more of them than there were Dunfermline fans so it just goes to show what it means to them. It was brilliant, absolutely fantastic." Reflecting on scoring his first goal for the top team, he said: "It's definitely a proud moment. I scored a couple last season for the U20s, I got a decent amount for a centre back as I scored eight goals. "Me and Callum Paterson have got a wee competition to see who can score the most goals by the end of the season, that's me off the mark so it's great to get a goal for the senior side."
