WE CAN BE THE BOS MEN

HEARTS LATEST...
By Alan Marshall

HEARTS were last night warned they're in for a rude awakening if they think they will sleepwalk their way past Champions League foes Siroki Brijeg.

The Bosnians travel to Murrayfield for the first leg of the the second qualifying round on Wednesday.

Siroki secured their spot by beating Belaruschamps Shaktyor 2-0 on aggregate.

And boss Ivica Barbaric reckons they can stun the Scottish Cup holders.

He said: "Hearts are a very good team and we know it will be tough for us as no one expects us to win.

"But we have been getting better and I believe we will be a difficult side to beat. Hearts have money to spend and they are ambitious, so it will be tough.

"However, if we can get a good result in Edinburgh, I know they won't enjoy travelling to our ground. We hope to make it tough for them."

Both legs of Hearts' Euro qualifier will be shown live on BBC Scotland.

A Beeb spokesman said: "The whole of Scotland wants to see how Hearts will get on in their first-ever Champions League campaign and we are thrilled to secure live coverage of both matches."
