EIGHT INDUCTEES FOR HALL OF FAME
HEARTS last night announced the first names to be inducted to the club's Hall of Fame, including a special place for late chairman Wallace Mercer.
At a dinner held at Prestonfield Hotel, the Tynecastle greats earned their place after they were voted for by fans from a shortlist of 14.
Joining Mercer in the first batch of inductees were the prolific John Robertson, Gary Mackay, who holds the club's all-time appearance record, George Cumming, hero of the 1956 Scottish Cup-winning side, 1950s legends Willie Bauld and Dave Mackay and present-day pair Paul Hartley and Steven Pressley.
