JAMBOS GAG FOR MCGLYNNCIS CUP SPECIAL... By Gary Ralston HEARTS yesterday banned John McGlynn from writing his weekly column for the Daily Record. The ruling comes 48 hours after they sent a translator to preview their CIS Cup quarter-final against Hibs. It's believed the Tynecastle club have no complaints about the content of any of McGlynn's articles. But they are demanding absolute control of public comments and, as a result, the profile of all employees. McGlynn was told of the ban by PR chief David Southern, who is believed to have been acting on orders passed on by the club's admin boss, Pedro Lopez. Hearts declined to comment on their decision.
