Similarly to team-mate Paul Hartley last week, Craig Gordon was saying nothing to the press after his disciplinary meeting this morning.

However his Players' Union representative Fraser Wishart did at least have something to say:

'Craig is captain of Hearts Football Club and will be playing, I am sure, at the weekend.

'What was discussed today is absolutely confidential. Comparing Steven Pressley with Paul Hartley or Craig Gordon is wrong.

'I cannot go into the situation, it was individual hearings at every opportunity.'

I'm not sure I agree with Wishart when he said that they should not be compared. I appreciate that they are all individuals and offer different abilities to the club, but surely they are being questioned about their role in the same thing, the press conference at Riccarton?

Unless of course, that these meetings have been to do with something else entirely that is not known in the public domain. There have been rumours about Hartley in particular going boxing with Lithuanian players but until that's confirmed for sure, you have to treat that sort of thing as nonsense.

Unfortunately, this is the problem when you have a club that is run by people who NEVER seem to give us any answers. If people don't know what's going on, they'll jump to their own conclusions and potentially damaging rumours quickly follow.
