BRELL BENT ON MAKING BIG RETURNHEARTS midfielder Julien Brellier is set to return to the squad for tomorrow's clash with Dundee United at Tannadice after coming through training yesterday unscathed. The influential Frenchman was forced to watch his teammates fall to a disappointing 1-0 home defeat by Aberdeen last Saturday due to a hamstring strain. Fans' favourite Brellier has recently returned to the side after being frozen out by Vladimir Romanov when talks over a contract extension broke down. The combative central midfielder, who has still yet to ink fresh terms with the Gorgie club, now faces a battle to reclaim his place in the side with vice-captain Paul Hartley and Bruno Aguiar both vying for the two positions in the middle of the park. The Tynecastle club's injury problems are easing with Czech striker Roman Bednar also expected to return for the Tannadice clash following a two-month lay-off with an Achilles problem. ![]() Taken from the Daily Record |
