CRAIG KAHN FILL OLIVER'S BIG GLOVESHEARTS boss Valdas Ivan-auskas says Craig Gordon has the class to take the gloves of the legendary Oliver Kahn. The Gorgie gaffer confirmed for the first time that Kahn's club Bayern Munich are interested in the Hearts captain who looked set to be sold when he was dropped for last week's big game against Rangers. While Hearts look certain to cash-in on their most prized asset in the summer, relieved Ivanauskas is glad to hang on to Gordon for a bit longer. The Lithuanian said: "There was a big list of clubs after Craig. Fulham definitely wanted him and Bayern Munich were also interested. "I expect clubs to come in for him at every transfer window but it is important for him to go at the right time. "Kahn is 37 and near the end of his career. Craig can make the step-up to a big club like that but he needs time." ![]() Taken from the Sunday Mail |
