JUHO HAS JOB TO DOJUHO MAKELA insists he'll prove he has a future at Hearts tonight by gunning down Scotland B. The striker jets out to join Swiss club FC Thun on loan until the end of the season after the Rugby Park clash and is desperate to leave on a high. Makela,23, said:"I've had a tough season at Hearts because I haven't played regularly. "I scored a hat-trick against Alloa in the League Cup and also scored on my only other start this season against Dundee Untied. "I need some regular first-team football and that is why I am going on loan. "I will be in Switzerland for four months and I don't know what will happen after that. But for now I am only concentrating on playing. Advertisement "I will play against Scotland and my dream is to score then fly out to Switzerland and keep scoring." Makela is celebrating a return to the national set-up under boss Roy Hodgson after a year out. He said: "My last game was against Cyprus last February so it is vital I show the manager what I can do. "I have six caps which is not too bad but I hope to get many more. "It is hard to say we are a B team because we have a lot of experienced players in our squad and the spirit is very good. "I have told the other players that it won't be easy against Scotland. They have a lot of good players." ![]() Taken from the Daily Record |
