May 19 ... a quiet day in the capital

ANDREW DRIVER insists Edinburgh will be a ghost town on Cup Final day.

Hearts and Hibs have played each other in the final just once — in 1896 when the Jambos won 3-1 at Logie Green in the capital.

And the Jambos winger is already counting down the days to the big Hampden showcase on Saturday, May 19.

He said: "The final will take care of itself. And it is going to be special.

"We can't go into it thinking we are going to win because it will be difficult.

"It is going to be a massive buzz and Edinburgh will be empty on the day.

"It is good for the city and for the whole history of the rivalry between the two sides."

Hearts haven't lost to Hibs for almost two years and are undefeated in their last ten games.

Driver added: "We will be favourites with the record we have against them.

"But it's a derby. It will be whoever works hardest and wants it most on the day. We have to give it our all."
